I have been going to this website since I was a kid. It has great activities for the kids and you can ever write a letter to Santa! Plus, on Dec. 24, NORAD lets you track Santa on his journey around the world. For moms, they have recipes and gift ideas. It's just a cute website that the whole family will enjoy.

According to this article, you can save lots of money during the Holidays and also spend it too! (No, really.)

Trees: Recycle them after the holidays to become mulch or replant them in your yard.

Lights: Go LED!

Gifts: Instead of useless crap, donate to a charity on behalf of a family member or bake some cookies and put them inside a nifty gift box.

Wrapping: Use recycled materials to jazz up those presents. (VCR tape curls well. Who knew?)

Ornaments: Make your own with items from around the house.

Wreaths: Soda cans make a great door ornament.

Table Decor: Choose bamboo and you can't go wrong.

Candles: Choose beeswax over paraffin. Turn off the lights and eat by candlelight.

Now, I'm not asking you to change your lifestyle. But since the economy is...oh, how should I say this...fucked...um, well, you could start pinching pennies and still be hip. You can do it! (I know I'm going to try.)
